A memorable finale to the 2025 edition
On 4 September, the 2025 award winners reached the summit of Monte Cevedale together with the Alpine Guides of Bormio and Santa Caterina. The ascent brought this year’s 4000UP experience to a close in the best possible way: with a shared achievement in one of the most remarkable landscapes of the Italian Alps.
From Rifugio Pizzini to the summit
Before the climb, the group enjoyed a warm and pleasant stay at Rifugio Pizzini, managed by CAI Milano. From the refuge, the team set out for Monte Cevedale and climbed to 3,768 metres, supported throughout the day by the experience and professionalism of the local mountain guides.
The 2025 group
The participants were Francesca Rinaldi, Yunwei Zhang, Benedetta Cabras, Gianluca Zoni, Giovanni Barone and Andrea Tagliasacchi, joined by Aldo Faleri and Adalberto Muzio. Their day on Monte Cevedale celebrated the spirit of the 4000UP Award: commitment, companionship and the joy of experiencing the high mountains together.
